ORIGINAL
DAUM FRANCE CONCORDES NAMEPLATE
Here is an original Daum Nameplate for the Concordes
Sculpture. This nameplate was the one that originally came with
the sculpture, but is almost impossible to find these days. The
nameplate has a brass plate mounted to a wooden base. It is just
under 4" in length. It is in excellent condition but does have
minor scratching on the front surface, when viewed from the side.
This is not signed with the Daum France etched signature,
which is not unexpected.

ORIGINAL
DAUM FRANCE MOON BIRDS NAMEPLATE
Here is an original wood and brass Nameplate for
the Moon Birds (Oiseaux De Lune) Sculpture by Daum France. This
nameplate was the one that came with the sculpture, but is almost
impossible to find these days. It is just under 4" in length.
It is in excellent condition but does have scratching on the front
surface, when viewed from the side.

SPARE ENVOI DE OIES GOOSE (6 GEESE FLYING)
Here is a spare / replacement Goose for Daum's Limited
Edition Flight of Geese. (See the mydaumcrystal site for a picture
of the full sculpture.) This is for the earlier version of the set
which mounts each Goose with a rod sticking out the tail of the
bird. There was a later design revision where each Goose mounts
entirely differently (via the bird's chest as I remember).
The problem with the early version of this sculpture
is that many of the Geese had internal stress cracks where the metal
rod is in the bird's body. Sometimes pretty severe. The full sculpture
I owned (and sold years ago) was perfect as each Goose did not have
any internal cracking. This spare Goose I an selling here also has
no internal cracking. If you have a broken or missing Goose, or
you are a perfectionist, this item is for you!
This piece is 8" long (from beak to the end
of the mounting rod), is in near Perfect condition, and is properly
signed Daum France.

Daum's Brighton Engine is a 4-4-0 Steam Engine with a tender.
This is the only one of the steam engines that has a tender. This
engine was designed by Xavier Froissart.

SINGLE BIRD / CONCORDE ON BASE
A spinoff or a pre-cursor to the Limited Edition Concordes, this
single Concorde could also be considered a bird in flight. I do
not have this in any catalog so I am not sure of the intent, but
the piece is identical to each of the three concordes in the limited
edition Concordes. The base is made of black plastic or resin
and the airplane is supported on a chrome rod similiar to the
limited edition piece.
20" LONG.. This piece is in excellent condition, except
that the tip of the nose is shorter than the Concorde pieces.
I don't know if it was polished down or was made this way intentionally
to be different.. Looks fine if you consider it as a stylized
bird. It is properly signed Daum France.

REGATE LIMITED EDITION SAILBOAT
The "Regate" was a racing sloop was always a very popular
sailboat that Daum produced. This item is slightly different.
It is a limited edition version of the Regate that was produced
for the 1992 America's Cup, and specifically for Team Dennis Conner
who sailed the Stars and Stripes. Only 26 of these special edition
pieces were made, of which this is 4/26. This is the only one
of these that I have ever run across over 40 years.
12 1/2" high. This piece is in excellent condition, except
it has several light scratches on the hull. It is properly signed
Daum France.

ATLANTIS / REGATE CONCEPT SAILBOAT
One of a Kind Prototype
Before the "Regate", One of Daum's most beautiful sailboats
in my opinion, came the "Regate Prototype". Designed
by Xavier Froissart as a concept piece, only one or two of these
pieces were ever made, and it is doubtful another example of this
piece still exists. Complete with keel, this boat is the only
full featured sailboat ever made by Daum. It sits on brass and
stone plinth much like "Atlantis", except smaller. In
actual fact this piece was probably also the inspiration for "Atlantis".
Approximately 14" high. This piece is generally in excellent
condition, but unfortunately it has a chip on the top of the bow.
I think this could be carefully polished out, but I have not done
this.. It is properly signed both Daum France and by Xavier Froissart.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire this piece.

TALL DUAL SAIL SAILBOAT LAMP
This masterpiece, one of Daum's more unique pieces, this Sailboat
Lamp consists of a crystal base and lampshade consisting of two
individual sails. This hardest part of this piece in collecting
is finding an original Daum shade still in good condition. I believe
mine is original, but am not 100% sure. The crystal base resembles
a sailboat hull.

CLEAR & PURPLE PATE de VERRE CLOCK
Daum's Frosted, Clear & Purple Pate de Verre Clock. (At least
that is what I call it. I don't know the official name.) This
is a large, very impressive piece. In actual fact, the purple
section is much more vived and a darker purple than shown is the

TEARDROP/FLAME CLOCK
One of the earliest clocks, Daum's Teardrop Clock or Flame Clock
came in 3 versions: gold, silver, and grey clock faces. The Teardrop
clock also came in 2 sizes: 8" tall and 10" tall. This
is the 8" tall gold version, which is shown.
This piece is in excellent condition. Clock tested and works!
It is properly signed Daum France. It also comes with a proper
Daum box in great shape.

DEALER SIGN - GOLD
POINT OF SALE DEALER ADVERTISING PIECE
This is the gold and crystal Daum Dealer sign, which was more
common than the other signs. This "Daum" display sign
was the primary design produced by Daum during the 70's, 80's
and early 90's. The actual Daum signature, made from gold plated
plastic, was glued to the crystal base along with two other plastic
pieces which displayed "Crystal" and "France".
It is also the most popular with Daum collectors.

3 RING BINDER FORMAT DAUM
CATALOG - ULTRA RARE 1988-1990 EST.
I have found a Daum general catalog from around
1988 to 1990, I think. Except that it is in the form of a 3 ring
binder with each page removable. See picture. (Ignore any shadows
in the pictures.)
I took pics of both the outside and inside of the
binder, as well as a few pis of pages inside the binder. A pic of
the Auto section, a pic of the For Men Only, (other transportation
items), and a pic of glassware to represent the general part of
the items for sale.
The Binder itself is about 1 1/2" thick, and
about 11" square. I don't know how many pages it is, as they
start each section with pg 1. Maybe around 75?? I did check each
section for any missing pages, but all the 7 sections are complete.
A few pages have the holes torn slightly, maybe 3 or 4? All the
pages are printed on heavy weight paper. The overall catalog is
in excellent minus condition. The only binder damage is the bottom
ring has a tiny gap when closed. I think it could easily bent a
little to make it close properly. There is also a tab for a Section
8 (Pate De Verre), but no pages included. I believe that Daum intentionally
did not include this section. Both because the Index at the front
of the binder has no listing for Section 8, and the binder rings
are completely full with pages for sections 1-7.
No item pricing found. Just pictures and a brief
description of each piece. The whole catalog is fairly heavy (4-5
lbs). I have only run across this binder style catalog once before
many years ago, and it was not complete.
